COFALEC will participate in the VH Yeast Conference 2026, which will take place in Berlin, Germany, on 20 to 21 April 2026. Organised by Verein der Hefefachleute (VH), this international peer group meeting brings together around 90 yeast technologists from industry, suppliers and academic institutions.
The 2026 edition will focus on the theme “On the verge of PAT and ML Models”, highlighting the growing role of Process Analytical Technology and artificial intelligence driven modelling in yeast production. The programme will include three lecture sessions covering market trends, applied research and industrial production processes, alongside poster presentations and short industry insights.
Speakers from leading organisations such as DFKI, Evonik, KIWI Biotechlab, TU Berlin, Differential Bio and UsePAT will present recent developments ranging from AI driven production process re engineering to machine learning based contaminant detection and advanced bioprocess analytics.
The conference provides a valuable platform for exchange between researchers, technology providers and yeast producers on the latest innovations shaping the sector.
